Contrary to the prejudiced views of the world, the cure and survival rates of pediatric cancer patients are over 70~80%. Your warm consideration can gift a new life to these easily broken children. 

* This advertisement was created through the collaboration between Junghyun, a child cancer patient, and advertising professional Jeseok Lee, as part of the Korean Make-a-Wish Foundation's incurable childhood wish fulfillment project.

[A. 학생과 공동 기획 / Co-planning with a Student] 

독한 약물치료로 인해 탈모 증상을 겪는 소아암 환자들의 모습에서 시각적 모티브를 얻었고, 따뜻하게 대해주면 새로운 생명으로 다시 거듭 태어날 수 있다는 의미에서 달걀로 그 모습을 표현했습니다. Taking visual cues from pediatric cancer patients experiencing hair loss due to harsh chemotherapy, we represented them through an egg—symbolizing that with warmth and care, they can be reborn into a brand-new life.

[B. 학생과 아트웍 공동 제작 / Collaborative Artwork Production] 

정현 양이 100% 순수하게 준비해온 아이디어 스케치들과 현장 브레인스토밍을 통해 이제석 측과 아이디어의 방향성을 설정했습니다. 정해진 방향 내에서 가장 이상적인 표현 방식을 고민한 끝에, 오퍼레이터인 이제석 측에서 컴퓨터 툴을 이용해 즉석에서 제작을 마무리했습니다. 

The creative direction was established through a live brainstorming session based on the conceptual sketches prepared entirely by Junghyun. After exploring the most ideal way to express the chosen concept, the Jeski team acted as technical operators, bringing the artwork to completion on-site using digital tools.

[C. 프로젝트 후기 / Project Reflections] 

그날 의뢰자이자 공동 작업자인 정현 양과 부모님, 그리고 재단 측 모두가 만족할 만한 결과를 도출해냈습니다. 우려 반 기대 반으로 시작했던 '소아암 환자와 함께하는 광고 만들기 프로젝트'는 그렇게 아주 성공적으로 잘 마무리되었습니다. 

On that day, we achieved a result that brought complete satisfaction to Junghyun (the client and collaborator), her parents, and the foundation. The "Creating Ads with Pediatric Cancer Patients" project, which began with a mix of apprehension and anticipation, was brought to a very successful close.

정현양은 현재 몸상태가 매우 회복되어 본인이 꿈꾸던 광고/홍보관련 학과를 지원하여 광고인의 길을 준비하고 있다.
